β Metaphysical Properties and Mystic Lore: Polychrome Jasper (also called Desert Jasper) is a delightful new find from Madagascar! It was discovered by geologists in 2006 while searching for the currently mined out Ocean Jasper. It was named for its wonderful range of colors, and reminds me of the rainbow hues of Mookite (they are geological cousins). Polychrome Jasper is grounding like all Jaspers, with the creativity and visual communication enhancement of Mookaite or Picture Jasper. Itβs brilliant to work with! It has a much lighter, more whimsical, magical energy than most Jaspers.
