This article has been removed by request of its original creator, Kristi Hugs. She has turning this valuable resource into a mini book that is available on Amazon. The book is called “Old Rocks, New Names: Synonyms, Trademarks and Marketing Names for Old Favorites and New Finds“. There are 162 entries into the book, some of which are a cross references. I have included a couple of samples below of entries that you can find in the book.
Agape Crystals™ In order to stave off a lawsuit from Melody, this company decided to rename Super Seven™/Melody Stone™/Sacred Seven™ and trademark it. Hence, Agape Crystals™ were born. ALL of these trademarked names refer to the same mineral combination: Quartz, Smoky Quartz, Rutile in Quartz (Rutilated Qtz), Amethyst, Goethite, Lepidochrosite and Cacoxenite.
Ascensionite™ is a trademarked name for a simple rock made up of Dolomite, Basalt and Quartz crystals.
Atlantisite™ is a trademarked name for a mineral combination of Serpentine and Stichtite. First Trademarked in Victoria, Australia in the year 2003 by Crystal Universe Pty. Ltd.
Azeztulite™ is a misleading trade name for B-C grade Quartz and/or Quartzite. There is nothing special about it other than someone is parting you from your money.
Black Labradorite is a synonym for Larvikite.
