Fan Submitted Question: I have a question. I have a 13 year old special needs daughter I just got her back I was in a 6 year custody battle. She is having a hard time adapting to change. What can I do to help her? I feel so lost and hurt. I am getting her counseling. That only goes so far. I also love your page and have become very interested in Crystal healing. Thank you love and light have a blessed day.
Answer: The first crystal that comes to mind for your daughter is a Rose Quartz. It has such a calming, loving energy to it that can help her feel safe and loved. Moonstone is one that can help with change and balance emotions.
Children are very intuitive. If you have a shop that sells crystals near you then you might take her and have her pick out one or a couple of them that she is drawn to. This will make her feel special and allow her to choose what she needs at this time.
I decided to put that to the test and ask my own boys (ages 14 and 9) which crystals they would recommend to make your daughter feel better. Instantly my 14 year old said, “Definitely Rose Quartz.” My 9 year old said, “Rose Quartz and maybe Snowflake Obsidian. The snowflake one always helped me feel better.” They had no idea that I already recommended Rose Quartz for her.
If you do end up letting her go choose for herself, I’d love to her what she picks out. Good luck, lots of love, and blessings to both of you!!
